Spring Break

For Spring Break this year we DROVE (16 hours) to Palm Springs, California to spend with Jim's brothers family and his parents.    We realized eight hours into the drive that we forgot Katie's suitcase.  :)

Katie decided she wanted to lay out and get a tan. She said, "Mom, when I start looking tan, wake me up so I can turn over."  Oh no -- this is starting a little soon isn't it?

Katie had such a good time hanging out with her girl cousins.  They were very cute with her and were very good about letting a 7 year old hang out with them.

We couldn't pass up the chance to go to Disneyland for a day.

We spent a lot of our day standing in lines.  UGH!  
Our first ride was the Grizzly Bear water ride.  This was one of their favorites.

Jared was brave as he let this snake come near him - he was the one and only brave one :)
We spent a few hours at Jim's cousins house where the kids were in heaven picking oranges and lemons off of the trees they had.  
The kids were playing basketball and playing at the pool all day that they needed some down time.


We played lots of games especially SKIPBO!

We had lots of fun!!
